Position: Software Architect with Security Clearance
Software Architect Mid-Senior Level | $100k - $130k | Colorado Springs, CO | Active DoD Secret Clearance Required Architect, integrate, and sustain next-generation deep-space radar systems - where software architecture, systems engineering discipline, and operational precision directly impact global mission readiness. This is a high-visibility role supporting complex radar capabilities across CONUS and OCONUS environments. A Day in the Life - What you'll do
* Lead the architectural deployment and configuration strategy for radar software across mission-critical radar systems
* Serve as the software architecture and integration authority during system integration, verification, validation, and operational deployments
* Analyze system-level software behavior in live operational environments to identify root causes, define corrective actions, and resolve deficiencies
* Define interface contracts, integration requirements, and architectural constraints for current and future software releases in collaboration with distributed development teams
* Develop and maintain system specifications, architectural artifacts, and operational documentation to ensure long-term traceability and mission stability

Required Qualifications Citizenship & Clearance
* U.S. Citizenship required
* Active DoD Secret clearance at time of application Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Science or related technical field with 5+ years of relevant experience OR
* Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR
* PhD with 1+ years of relevant experience Technical Skills
* Experience defining, reviewing, and governing software architectures implemented in C++, Java, and JavaScript environments
* Understanding of UI/UX architectural patterns and system-level integration of React.js-based interfaces
* Strong ability to analyze complex, distributed software systems and resolve architectural, configuration, and integration issues
* Experience designing and supporting containerized architectures using Kubernetes or Docker
* Virtualization architecture experience (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V)
* Experience integrating or supporting analytical tools such as MATLAB within larger system workflows
* Familiarity with Linux (Red Hat) and Windows operating systems from a configuration and integration perspective
* Experience working in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence, with emphasis on requirements tracking, documentation, and cross-team coordination Certifications
* CompTIA Security+ certification required

Preferred Qualifications
* Experience defining or supporting architectures involving Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
* Experience supporting Radar Signal Processing systems at the architectural or software integration level
* Prior OCONUS deployment experience supporting large, integrated operational teams
