Senior Information System Security Engineer

U.S. based position requires U.S. citizenship and work must be conducted within the continental U.S.

Senior Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) provides customer Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance by offering security engineering, compliance and advisory support to accelerate the development of defensive cyber solutions for ground and space based threats. The role demands leadership, problem solving, and integrity within a fast‑paced environment.

• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity policies and procedures for government sector information systems and implementation experience.
• Hands‑on security and compliance guidance, collaborating with Scrum Masters and product owners to meet system requirements and implement cloud computing solutions.
• RMF/ATO process support.
• Security architecture review and assessment.
• Dev Sec Ops  pipeline security integration in Platform One/IL5 environment.
• Coordination with Government ISSM/ISSO.
• Accountability for privileged access; subject to DoD 8140 restrictions.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty with at least 18 years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 10 years of related experience.
• CISSP, Security+, or CEH certification.
• Experience with tools such as ACAS/Nessus, Splunk, or similar SIEM.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance;
  Top Secret with SCI/SAP highly desired.
• IAT Level II.

• Relevant DoD and/or industry work experience.
• Experience with Defensive Cyber Operations.

• Candidate must maintain a Secret clearance.
