Configuration Management Specialist III

American Systems is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist III with 7–10 years of experience and a TS/SCI Clearance to support The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD), Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC)
-Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (NCMC-ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract III Mission.

• Performs configuration identification, change control, and status accounting activities to ensure system and documentation baseline records remain accurate and current.
• Support configuration audits and maintain logs of all changes in designated repositories, including those arising from integration of external provider systems.
• Prepare draft configuration management plans, assist with baseline documentation, and deliver configuration status reports compliant with data integrity standards.
• Participate in integration audits, create associated checklists and summary reports for management and audits, and ensure that all baseline documentation updates are complete and approved.
• Works in close coordination with EDLM/UDLM (Emergency/Urgent Depot Level Maintenance) manager

• Thorough knowledge of configuration management principles, including change control and status accounting, is necessary to maintain accurate documentation and system baselines.
• Experience in system audits and configuration plan preparation is essential.
• Ability to assist in maintaining data integrity standards and updating documentation efficiently is crucial, with proficiency in using designated repositories for integration and status reporting.
• Familiar with tools such as MS Access, SQL, SharePoint, Clear Case, Clear Quest, DOORS, etc.
• Clearance:
  Top Secret/SCI
• Education:
  
  Bachelors in IT, Cyber, CS, IS, Data Science, or SW Engineering OR equivalent DoD/Military training
• Certifications:
  
  CND, GFACT, GSEC, or Security+
• Experience:
  
  7-10 Years
