Job Overview
Lockheed Martin Space seeks an IT Infrastructure Manager to lead technical teams, drive infrastructure projects, and foster engineering excellence for our 21st Century Security® vision.
Responsibilities- Directly manage a diverse team of System Administrators, Network Engineers, Site Engineers, and Help Desk Engineers.
- Lead technical problem solving and troubleshooting in a virtual environment.
- Drive long‑term infrastructure projects such as DEVSECOPS pipelines, network upgrades, zero‑trust architecture, and automated test environments.
- Serve as Control Account Manager (CAM).
- Oversee site engineering activities, ensuring electrical work complies with NEC and meets OSHA regulations.
- Provide technical volume inputs, develop accurate BOEs, and validate PWS for contract capture.
- Make final hiring decisions, mentor career development, enforce policies, and recognize achievements.
- Interface directly with Lockheed Martin and government executive leadership to present status, risks, opportunities, budget requests, and strategic themes.
- Leadership experience in the defense sector.
- Experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
- Technical expertise in at least one of the following:
System Administration, Networks, Site Engineering/Hardware.
- IAT Level 2 certification (SEC+ or similar).
- IAT Level 3 certification (CISSP or similar).
- Operating‑system certification (RHCSA, Linux+, Windows).
- Networking experience (Cisco Routing and Switching, subnetting, VLANs).
- PMP or SAFe POPM certification.
- Previous CAM experience.
Clearance level:
Top Secret. This position requires a government security clearance; US citizenship is required.

Mandatory onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. - Work Hours:
Standard 40‑hour week, with optional condensed schedules.
Annual base salary: $122,900 – $216,660 (California, Massachusetts, New York, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington, DC). Salary varies by location.
