Senior Dev Ops Engineer – Colorado Springs, CO (Hybrid or Onsite)
K ’s National Security Solutions team seeks a Senior Dev Ops Engineer who will integrate cloud technologies with Dev Ops practices to support U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory missions.
Key Responsibilities- Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clusters
- Develop Git Lab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and helm charts
- Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines
- Containerize custom applications
- Design high‑level architecture for cloud‑native networks and systems
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support a variety of tech stacks

Required
- Active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance (U.S. citizen)
- B.S. in Computer Science (other degrees considered with relevant experience or certification)
- 1+ years of experience building helm charts and Kubernetes API objects
- 1+ years of experience writing Dockerfiles and containerizing applications
- 3+ years of experience with GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git version control
- Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently
Desired
- Competence in building pipelines, preferably with Git Lab
- Experience delivering a cloud‑native application
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud services
- Familiarity with OAuth2, OIDC flows, or Key Cloak
- Experience with IaC tools, especially Terraform
- Experience deploying to air‑gapped networks
- Experience with Cert Manager, OpenSSL, and Public Key Infrastructure
- Experience with event streaming services, especially Kafka
$115,600 – $173,300 (Colorado Springs only)
