The Work We are seeking a early career Software Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable Dev Ops solutions and CI/CD pipelines that support efficient software delivery. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, reliability, and system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, build, implement and maintain CI/CD pipeline using tools such as Git Lab and Jenkins.

- Develop and maintain complex software applications in languages such as Python, Java, Bash, and Powershell.

- Implement solutions for an enterprise-scale network, including building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Software-defined Networking (SDN) solutions to optimize network management.

- Develop and maintain documentation for all software, including CI/CD pipelines, architecture, configuration, and tooling guides.

- Develop and enhance automation scripts and services using Python or Java to improve Dev Ops workflows - The candidate may be required to support critical activities outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.

- Any other required tasks by the program

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have an 8140 Compliant Certification such as:
Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
• Qualified candidate must be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. This requires US Citizenship.
• Must maintain a valid US passport.
• Must be able to travel to alternate work locations to execute job duties such as deployments.
• Experience coding in various programming languages, including Python and Java, as well as scripting languages such as Bash and Powershell.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, API integration (particularly the REST API), and Git version control.
• Ability to script and test automation of software tools. Desired

Skills:

• Active Top Secret Security Clearance is a plus
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and basic orchestration concepts
• Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio drawing tools.
