Data Scientist – Senior (IEX – Government Intelligence)

Work with the largest U.S. government agency to advance the Department of War’s mission by designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and advanced machine‑learning projects on cloud‑native platforms.

• Design, build, and maintain end‑to‑end scalable data pipelines.
• Analyze complex structured and unstructured datasets using statistical, mathematical, and machine‑learning techniques.
• Develop and apply predictive, prescriptive, NLP, clustering, forecasting, and other advanced analytics models.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build and support scalable data environments.
• Process and analyze large datasets using Spark, Hadoop, and other big‑data frameworks.
• Design automated processes for large‑scale data manipulation and integration.
• Generate visualizations and analytics dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or R Shiny.
• Communicate complex analytical results to non‑technical stakeholders through clear data storytelling.
• Perform data engineering and modeling on cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, IBM Cloud Pak, or Cloudera.

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience with data science methods applied to real‑world problems.
• Proficiency in Python or R; experience with Spark, Hadoop, and SQL environments.
• Strong programming skills; proficiency with Java, C++, or other relevant languages.
• Experience with Agile development practices and Git.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into actionable business decisions.
• Valid U.S. citizenship; eligibility to obtain or maintain DoW SECRET clearance.

• On‑site at Colorado Springs, CO (hybrid potential subject to customer approval).
• Scheduled weekly hours: 40; travel required: none.
