AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking our next Master Scheduler
!!
As the Master Scheduler for the NISSC 3 program
, you will manage projects of varying scale and complexity by driving integrated scheduling, resource alignment, and coordinated execution across technical and support teams. You will be responsible for project planning, schedule and milestone management, risk and issue escalation, and ensuring compliance with deliverable and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate status meetings, track project performance metrics, maintain documentation, and coordinate among technical, logistical, and government stakeholders to ensure timely completion of all tasks in support of program objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project and program schedules (e.g., milestones, dependencies, critical path).
- Coordinate project team assignments, track progress to plan, and adjust schedules as needed to meet program objectives.
- Manage resource allocation across tasks and disciplines, identifying gaps or conflicts and recommending solutions.
- Identify, track, and elevate project risks and issues; support development of mitigation and contingency plans.
- Ensure projects comply with contract deliverable requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Facilitate recurring status meetings; capture and track action items, decisions, and key risks/issues.
- Track project performance and metrics (e.g., schedule adherence, milestones, deliverables) and report status to leadership and customers.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, plans, status reports, and change records.
- Oversee coordination and communication among technical, logistical, and government stakeholders to ensure aligned execution.
- Provide leadership across multiple disciplines to drive timely completion of tasks and reporting obligations.
- Support process improvements in project management and scheduling practices across the program.
- 4–6 years of experience managing projects or task orders in a technical or IT-focused environment.
- Experience creating and maintaining project schedules and coordinating team activities and resources.
- Demonstrated experience with risk and issue management and escalation.
- Experience preparing and delivering project status reports and presentations to management and/or customers.
- Bachelor’s degree in:
Information Technology (IT) / Cybersecurity / Computer Science (CS) / Information Systems (IS) / Data Science / Software Engineering - OR equivalent DoD/Military training and experience in project management, scheduling, or related field.
- Active Secret clearance at time of hire.
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI as required by the program.

- Security+ (Security+ CE acceptable)
USD $/Yr.
- USD $/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
