Senior Intel & Operations Officer – Vets Hired (Colorado Springs, CO)

We are seeking an experienced Space Systems Senior Intelligence and Operations Officer to support Space Systems Command Battle Management Command, Control, and Communications (SSC/SZ) portfolio. The position is available in Colorado Springs, CO.

• Perform space acquisitions, engineering, operations, and technical advice and assistance.
• Provide analytical and operational engineering support to current and future developmental and operational units.
• Provide support for data and signal collection, processing, storage, archiving, analysis, and lessons learned to support test, on‑going operations, and future concept developments upon request.
• Develop draft intelligence requirements and staffing packages, provide advisement on intelligence reports, translate program requirements into intelligence needs and requirements, and recommend courses of action to support mission‑related activities.
• Utilize acquisition and intelligence community standards and processes to support the program manager in evaluating tradeoffs between cost, schedule, and performance.

• BS/BA with more than 12 years of experience; MS/MA with more than 10 years of experience.
• Expert in DoD and Air Force Intelligence capabilities, processes, and procedures.
• Demonstrates ability to organize and execute initial establishment of operational Air Force space control unit (including bed down, training, and transition from acquisitions).
• Experience supporting classified space operations.
• Facilitate, manage, and engage with stakeholders to aid in Ops/Acq integration.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and writing) skills.
• Must have experience in using critical thinking to prepare written reports and presentations for decision makers.
• MUST HAVE AT A MINIMUM, A CURRENT TOP SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE AND BE ABLE TO OBTAIN A TS/SCI CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU DO NOT MEET THIS REQUIREMENT.
