Job Summary The Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure while developing automation solutions that support software deployment, system administration, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. The role works closely with development teams to automate infrastructure, improve operational efficiency, and maintain secure, scalable cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and manage hyperconverged cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab.
- Collaborate with software development teams to automate deployment processes.
- Design and implement automation solutions using Bash, Python, Power Shell, and Ansible.
- Test and validate automation solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
- Monitor infrastructure and track the impact of maintenance, patching, and system changes.
- Manage virtualization platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Administer Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Implement configuration management using Ansible.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and infrastructure automation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Active DoD 8140 IAT Level II (or higher) certification.
- Experience with VMware, Nutanix, or Red Hat Open Stack.
- Experience administering Linux and Windows Server environments.
- Proficiency with Bash, Python, Power Shell, or Ansible scripting.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with Git Lab.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing configuration management using Ansible.
- Experience with Active Directory and Nutanix cloud platforms.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Scrum Master certification is a plus.
