Regional COSA Position
Auria is looking to hire a Regional COSA to support the C2
BMC program. This role is ONSITE in Colorado Springs, CO. The chosen candidate will join a team that reports to the C2
BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and is responsible for daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2
BMC systems within a 24/7 operations and test environment.
What You Can Expect To Do:
- Will provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2
BMC hardware, software, and networks - Will document and report all events and issues to the CWO and receive tasking and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests, and real-world events
- Will also assist with all hardware and software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO
- The role involves rotating through a 24/7 shift schedule. The candidate will work a 12-hour shift, with the exact timing depending on mission requirements
- Additional coverage during off shifts, such as nights and weekends, might be needed on a rotating substitute basis
- Performs additional duties and assignments as needed
What The Team Requires:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
- Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain Top Secret and eligibility to be read on to SCI clearance
- Applicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ **, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
- Possesses a solid background and experience in operating and maintaining large-scale computer and communication systems/networking environments
- Solid background and experience in system and/or network administration, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco, and Juniper
- Sound background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
What The Team Prefers:
- Applicants with a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application, with the eligibility to be read on to SCI clearance, are highly preferred
- Experience and knowledge of the C2
BMC System or of Missile Defense Systems are desired
Pay Transparency:
The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $90,000 - $100,000
