The Integration/Field Engineer, in Colorado Springs, CO, is responsible for administering and maintaining the infrastructure supporting software development, integration, testing, and deployment activities within secure laboratory environments.

This position develops automation, implements modern infrastructure management practices, and ensures lab environments remain reliable, secure, and ready to support Engineering, Development, Test, and Cybersecurity activities.

Responsibilities include:

• Administer Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, and network infrastructure supporting development and integration laboratories.
• Build, maintain, and automate enterprise lab environments supporting software development, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Implement and maintain Git Ops workflows, source control integration, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Develop automation using Power Shell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies to improve operational efficiency and repeatability.
• Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Kubernetes, Open Shift, container platforms, and supporting services.
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain enterprise infrastructure while ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and configuration management requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Integration, Test, and Cybersecurity teams to support modernization initiatives and laboratory readiness.
• Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and automation documentation.
• Support customer site activities and travel when required.

Experience and Skills

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology/Cybersecurity/Space Systems field of study
• The position requires an active Security+ Certificate with CE and a minimum SECRET clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
• Candidates must have at least eight years of experience in space operations/IT/Systems Administration or five years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• The role requires the ability to travel for up to four weeks per year (less than 10% of the time) and be physically present 5 days a week.
• Favorable adjudication of TS/SCI is required to remain in role.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience administering enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments.
• VMware or equivalent virtualization experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Open Shift, Docker, or containerized platforms.
• Experience implementing Git Ops using tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
• Experience with Git, Git Lab, or other enterprise source control platforms.
• Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies.
• Power Shell, Bash, or Python scripting experience.
• Enterprise networking knowledge including VLANs, routing, switching, DNS, and firewalls.
• Experience supporting PKI, certificates, Active Directory, and enterprise authentication services.
• Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and cybersecurity compliance in DoD environments.
• Experience supporting air-gapped or disconnected enterprise environments.

Salary Range: $90,000-$120,000 Job Benefits
