• Generating and simulating operational level plans to explore the art of the possible, how we could defend the ultimate high ground in a future space war
• Dynamically optimizing both terrestrial and space‑based sensors to provide comprehensive space domain awareness
• Strategically optimizing the placement and maneuvering of constellations of satellites to satisfy multiple, evolving priorities

Our team leverages industry standard open‑source software solutions such as Git Lab, Kubernetes, and Helm. Our automation‑first and “everything as code” mindset allows our software engineers to focus their time and efforts on what is most important - building cutting edge functionality for our end users.

Performs tech planning, design, devel, integ, v&v for total syst life cycle. Analyses performed at all levels of syst product incl. concept, design, fabrication, test, instl, operation, maintenance & disposal, incorp design methods & stds for Cyber Security, SW & HW infrastructure. Designs, devels, docs, tests & debugs SW that contains logical & math solutions to business/mission problems/questions in computer language.

Ensures the logical & syst conversion of customer/product reqs into total syst solutions that ack tech, sched, cost constraints & align to SW & HW deployment pipelines & factories. Performs func & timeline analysis, detail trade & reqs allocation & interface defs studies to translate customer reqs into HW & SW feature defs & acceptance criteria. Applies stds, processes, procedures & tools throughout the devel life cycle.

Applies HW & SW knowledge, cyber security stds in business/mission apps, & feedback from users to develop SW. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles doc of program devel & analyzes syst capabilities to resolve program problems, output/input data acq, programming tech & controls. Ensures SW stds are met. Validates incorp of features & use cases into implemented designs

• Experience with application containerization (Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Containerd) in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, Open Stack, Open Shift)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Ansible, Terraform, or Packer
• Experience working in an Agile development environment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with CI/CD - Deployment pipelines, automated build, and configuration tools (Gitlab, ArgoCD)
• Must be a US Citizen;
  Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

• Recent on-program experience as a technical lead (e.g., architecture design, technical research, project management, define/enforce code quality standards, etc.)
