Regional Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA) – OM&S – T5 – COS-M – Secret – IAT - Level II

Entry-level to experienced, with varying years of experience and educational background, follows established policies and procedures under supervision; responsible for solving problems of limited to moderate scope and complexity. Must maintain DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA) for the full contract period. Minimum active DoD Secret Clearance is required.

• Perform daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of C2
  
  BMC systems in a 24x7 environment
• Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter; perform initial troubleshooting of local hardware, software and networks
• Document and report events/issues to the CWO; receive tasking from the CCC for operations, test and real-world events
• Assist in hardware/software installations as directed by local SMEs
• Create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO
• Focus on Lab and Test activities
• Performs other duties and assignments as required

• Sound background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments
• Sound background and experience in system and/or network administration (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco and Juniper)
• Sound background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
