• Provide guidance and oversight in assessing security infrastructure and network and systems design to ensure system/network security
• Identify security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems,applicationsandnew technology initiatives
• Provide oversight in the development, testing and operation of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, enterprise anti-virussystemsand software deployment tools
• Develop policies and procedures for securing the system infrastructure and applications
• Develop complex technical and programmatic assessments, evaluate engineering and integrationinitiativesand provide technical support to assess security policies,standard sand guidelines
• Perform product evaluations, recommend and implement products/services for network security
• Interact with clients and provide recommendations on information assurance engineering standards, implementationdependenciesand changing information assurance related technologies

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree, a Master’s degree or a PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering,Information Technology/Computer Information Systems with Network Focus or Communications Focus, Electrical Engineeringor related fieldor have completed their
  
  Bachelor’sdegree within the last 12months,regardless of age.

• Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and security infrastructure (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, IPSec, VPNs)
• Knowledge of Computer/System Security topics such as Antivirus, Authentication, Authorization, Access Control, Cryptography, SSO, Business Continuity Planning and Application Security

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, and Vermont is $22.50 - $41.00 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3
