Electrical Technician

Job Pay Range: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Job Summary:

As a member of the Engineering Team, this role will responsible for the maintenance, repair, installation, and operation of electrical components throughout the hotel complex and outlying areas.

• Responds to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Executes the installation of electrical panels and associated piping and wiring as directed.
• Assist the Convention Service department as required.
• Plans, directs, and records periodic electrical testing, and recommends or initiates modification or replacement of equipment which fails to meet acceptable operating standards.
• Assist Housekeeping department to resolve lighting problems as required.
• Comply with established safety rules and health regulations of The BROADMOOR Hotel and Engineering department.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification.
• The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 50.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
