Position Summary:The Groundskeeper performs routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of the community. They are responsible for the upkeep and cleanliness of the property grounds, facilities, streets, amenities, equipment and various utility systems. Maintenance Technicians provide exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents always.
Performance Objectives:- Responsible for assisting with maintaining the physical integrity of the community at all times. This involves insuring a clean and well maintained living environment for residents, visitors and staff.
- Picking up any trash/debris observed on the property while performing normal duties.
- Protect the investment of the property owner by anticipating, identifying, and correcting any issues regarding safety, hazardous conditions or maintenance needs in the community
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team to prioritize tasks throughout the day
- Ensure upkeep of community appearance by replacing light bulbs, removing trash and litter, painting and performing repairs
- Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, distribution of notices, inspections, and other tasks as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment within the community
- Complete minor repairs to utility systems and streets as needed
- Maintain grounds and landscaping to community standards (mowing and weeding as needed)
- Perform duties in a safe manner, adhering to all safety procedures and properly using safety equipment
- Inspect, clean and repair facilities and amenities which include clubhouse, basketball courts, swimming pools, and maintenance garage to ensure they are in good condition
- Additional or modified duties as assigned within the Company’s discretion
