Work Schedule: Monday-Friday
Work Location: Onsite, South Murray Location
Pay Range: $17.25– $17.50 per hour, depending on experience. $1 dollar increase for bilingual individuals (Spanish, German, Korean).

The Dishwasher / Kitchen Support Driver is responsible for maintaining kitchen sanitation standards, supporting food preparation activities, and providing meal and supply delivery services for Silver Key Nutrition Programs. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe preparation, handling, transportation, and delivery of meals and supplies that support older adults and vulnerable community members throughout the region.
The Dishwasher / Kitchen Support Driver supports the mission of Silver Key Senior Services by maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, assisting with meal production, supporting volunteers, and ensuring timely delivery of food and supplies to congregate dining sites, Meals on Wheels operations, pantry programs, and other designated locations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Sanitation and Kitchen Support- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and perform manual washing of dishes, trays, utensils, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen, preparation areas, storage areas, and serving spaces.
- Sweep, mop, sanitize, and maintain kitchen floors and work surfaces.
- Remove trash, recycling, and food waste and transport to designated disposal areas.
- Organize and store clean cookware, dishes, and supplies.
- Assist kitchen staff with food preparation activities including washing, peeling, chopping, portioning, and packaging food items.
- Assist with stocking food, supplies, and inventory in refrigerators, freezers, dry storage, and warehouse areas.
- Monitor work areas for compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Safely deliver meals, food products, supplies, equipment, and program materials to Silver Key locations and community sites.
- Load and unload food carriers, meal containers, kitchen supplies, pantry products, and equipment.
- Maintain delivery logs and required route documentation.
- Collect and transport program records, donation boxes, pantry materials, and other operational items.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Assist with Meals on Wheels, congregate meal deliveries, pantry operations, and other agency transportation needs as assigned.
- Drive agency vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with special events, emergency meal operations, food distributions, and community outreach activities.
- Collaborate with staff, volunteers, interns, and community partners to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide guidance to volunteers regarding safety procedures and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrate a positive, professional, and service-oriented attitude when interacting with clients, volunteers, and community members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Valid Colorado Driver's License.
- Clean or acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate agency vehicles.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
- One year or more of commercial kitchen experience.
- Experience in food service, warehouse, delivery, or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Experience working with older adults, volunteers, or nonprofit organizations.
- Serv Safe Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable.
- Maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License.
- Maintain an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Safely operate agency-owned vehicles.
- Observe and comply with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
- Participate in required driver safety training and vehicle inspections.
- Report accidents, incidents, and vehicle maintenance concerns immediately.
