Compensation:- Pay range: $16.00-$19.00/hr.

Purpose:
Maintain the proper upkeep and cleanliness of the buildings and grounds; maintain the utility infrastructure of the school campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Perform daily custodial operations including cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, laboratories, stairways, corridors, closets, gymnasium, locker rooms, and lobbies
- Follow Universal Standard Precautions and safety protocol when appropriate
- Maintain the upkeep of the facility and furniture to include repairs, painting, and cleaning, including the management of waste disposal
- Assist the facility manager in the maintenance of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems of the facility
- Perform routine and special project work on the facility and grounds (e.g., building drama set for school play)
- Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance
- Attend all training as assigned by Facility Manager
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Qualifications:Required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to perform duties with minimal oversight
- Excellent communication skills
- Works well on a team
- Enthusiasm for working in a school environment, serving its students and staff
High School diploma or GED
Experience:At least 1 year of experience in a custodial or grounds keeping role preferred
