OpportunityCasco Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Executive to lead both project execution and the overall performance of our Project Management and Field Operations teams.
This is a high‑impact leadership role for a builder who thrives in both strategic oversight and hands‑on execution. You will manage your own assigned commercial and/or high‑end residential projects while leading and developing our Project Managers and Superintendents across all active projects.
This role is designed to grow into a future Director of Operations position as the company continues to scale.
What You’ll Do- Lead assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Own budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and cost controls
- Serve as primary client‑facing leader
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at Casco quality standards
- Lead and manage the entire Project Management Department
- Supervise and mentor Project Managers and Field Superintendents
- Standardize systems, processes, and performance expectations
- Align field and office teams for predictability and accountability
- Maintain visibility into company‑wide project financial performance
- Review WIP, cost‑to‑complete projections, and margin tracking
- Report directly to the CEO on project health, forecasting, and risk
- Identify operational gaps and implement corrective action
- Support scope reviews, constructability, and project handoffs
- Ensure disciplined transition from estimating to operations
- 10+ years of construction management experience (commercial and custom residential)
- 5+ years in senior project management or operations leadership
- Proven ability to manage complex projects end-to-end
- Strong financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, WIP reporting)
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Deep knowledge of contracts, scheduling, and field operations
- Proficiency in Buildertrend and construction management software
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- PMP or similar certifications are a plus
- Established, growing Colorado Springs builder
- Commercial and high‑end residential portfolio
- Direct collaboration with executive leadership
- Clear pathway to Director of Operations
