ResponsibilitiesThe test technician role supports a low volume/high mix production test floor with equipment ranging from rack‑n‑stack test systems, to large ATE systems, to wafer probers, to laser test equipment, and to custom test systems and fixtures. Some of the test systems are more than 30 years old. The test area handles oscilloscope probes, ASICs, wafers, MCMs, HiBoards/Miboards, and other products.
The test tech is responsible for setting up the various test systems for production and for calibrating, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment as needed. This role interacts daily with production operators, product and test engineers, other equipment maintenance technicians, and management.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
- Excellent communication and personal interaction skills a must.
- Experience with ATE Equipment maintenance and repair
- 2-year electronics degree
- 7+ years of electronic maintenance experience
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Military electronics experience beneficial
- Experience with handling RF connectors and cables
- Ability to document/disconnect/reconnect electronic test equipment in test racks
- Automated part handler setup and repair experience
- Wafer prober setup and maintenance experience a plus
- Knowledge of soldering and wire harness repair
- Ability to read schematics
- Ability to write procedures
Pay Range: USD $67,030.00 - USD $ Year
Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
