A leading technology company is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Coord, Materials Handling
. The successful candidate will prepare and package parts and products for external shipment, selecting the appropriate shipping container and packing items for safe delivery. The company offers a family-oriented culture and environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive and store incoming materials in the main stockroom facility. Requires validation of packing slip against available tools to verify accuracy of incoming shipments.
  • Sort, count, package, label, unpack, and/or log inventory that is shipped or received.
  • Inspect shipments for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
  • Issue parts and materials to production work orders and deliver to the production material staging area.
  • Restock Point of Use locations of bulk material on the production floor.
  • Conduct inventory cycle counts of material on a weekly basis. May assist with investigating material discrepancy errors.
  • Perform administrative functions such as maintaining department databases, preparing routine reports, file shipping and receiving records.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous material handling or assembly experience in electrics industry is preferred.
  • Track record of increasing effectiveness or reducing waste in process steps, familiarity with LEAN methodologies is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM.
  • Experience with MS Suite of applications, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Shift:
  • Day Shift - 7 am - 3:30 pm.
