Job Description- Provide technical support in the Wafer Fab area by performing routine and preventive maintenance on production ion implant equipment.
- Complete PMs unassisted on assigned equipment.
- Start, stop, and operate ion implant equipment within design limits.
- Use technical skills to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on assigned equipment.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on sub‑assemblies and mainframe equipment in the ion implant area.
- Work independently and in a team environment for physically demanding technical tasks.
- Apply appropriate mechanical and cleaning techniques to rebuild sub‑assemblies and mainframe vacuum systems.
- Use and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment.
- Set up, operate, and interpret results of helium leak detection equipment.
- Assist senior technicians in verification testing of the equipment upon completion of the PM.
- Utilize available training synopsis, materials, aids, timeliness, and certification requirements to meet assigned personal improvement goals.
- Learn to utilize process measurement data from outside sources as a measure of the quality of work performed in completing PM tasks.
- Provide input to assist with development and optimization of equipment preventive maintenance schedules.
Shift: Modified 1st – Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, every other Friday (7:00 am – 7:12 pm)
Requirements / Qualifications- 3+ years of work‑related experience or training.
- AS technical degree, electronics, or military electronics certificate preferred.
- Practical knowledge of electronics, mechanics, vacuum theory, safety and clean‑room protocol, and IC fabrication.
- Basic computer skills to interact with systems used to monitor and update equipment status, online checklists, GQS specifications, email, and technical information related to equipment processing.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and ability to learn operational concepts of systems and perform diagnostics for complex operational and system problems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, pneumatic diagrams, flow charts, and cause‑and‑effect diagrams.
- Set up, operate, and interpret output of test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital volt‑ohm meters, current and voltage sources, and chart recorders.
- Learn and adhere to established company and departmental policies for day‑to‑day operations.
- Work well with different teams across the organization, support fellow technicians, share experience and knowledge, and work toward common goals.

Pay RangeThe hourly pay range for this position, which could be performed in the US, is $25–36 /hr. Range is dependent on numerous factors including job location, skills and experience.
