Salary Range: $22.00 - $35.00 Hourly
SUMMARYA position defined by a tiered matrix of welding capabilities and fabrication capabilities (see Attachment 1 - Welder/Fabrication Responsibility Matrix).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understands fully Springs Fabrication's Policy Statement, commitment to ISO and Safety
- Maintains own tools per Employee Manual and maintains a clean and safe work area (See Attachment 2 - Tool Requirements List)
- Check all parts to print and material lists prior to welding.
- Weld in accordance with lead/supervisor directions, work orders, component blueprints and welding procedures.

EDUCATIONHS Diploma, GED or equivalent. Degree in welding preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSCertificates from a technical program are strongly desired.
SKILLS and ABILITIESSee attachment A for matrixed requirements for skills based on welder/fabricator position.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations and Engineering drawings.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic math skills to include adding, subtracting, multiplication, and division. Ability to calculate area, circumference and general algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
