DescriptionCeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a SOF Exercise Designer with intelligence background to support the U.S. Special Operations Command North (SOCNORTH) at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO. The SOF Exercise Designer IV will provide exercise planning and scenario development. Exercise planning and scenario development is essential for Table Top Exercises (TTXs), Command Post Exercises, Senior Leader Seminars, Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercises, and Field Training Exercises, to achieve the stated objectives of the commander.
The SOF Exercise Designers conduct front-end analysis by reviewing current operational directives, standing contingency plans, and conceptual approaches. They will create scenarios to stress decision-making, capabilities, joint war fighting functions and address the operational and tactical issues in complex environments. The designers will contribute to development of the Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) for operations based or complex discussion-based exercises and attend all Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) events.
Expected salary range: $80,000 - $110,000.

- Ability to work in remote and rural environments.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
- Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS.

Travel:
- 11-20% / Occasional Travel.
- This position may require travel to remote overseas locations for extended periods of time.

Requirements Basic Qualifications- Current, active TS/SCI security clearance.
- Minimum of 6 years of recent experience serving in a command, senior enlisted advisor, or primary staff billet in a SOF (USSOCOM/TSOC), Service, Joint Staff, OSD, or 3-4 Star level Service/GCC HQs.
