Desired capabilities/traits for applicants may include:
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documents
- Ability to follow and develop test procedures
- Detailed note keeping and attention to detail
- Ability to solder both through-hole and SMT PCBs
- Capabilities using oscilloscopes, DMM, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and other test equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot to the component level (ICs, capacitors, diodes, resistors, etc.)
- Test fixture development
