Shift: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
Job Store Staffing is seeking an experienced Automation Operator to join a manufacturing team on 2nd shift. This position is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment, making machine adjustments, monitoring product quality, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. If you have experience with CNC, automation, or manufacturing equipment and are looking to build your technical skills, this is a great opportunity!
WhatYou'll Do
- Operate automated and semi-automated production machinery
- Set up and operate equipment according to established procedures and production specifications
- Monitor machines and adjust settings as needed to maintain quality and production standards
- Use computer-controlled and manually controlled equipment
- Learn and use precision measuring tools to verify product quality
- Monitor production processes and identify potential issues
- Work alongside experienced technicians and learn basic machine maintenance processes
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Complete required production documentation and computer data entry
- Meet production deadlines and quality standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- At least 1 year of experience operating CNC, automated, or manufacturing equipment strongly preferred
- CNC programming experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working in a medium- to fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
- Ability to bend, stoop, and squat occasionally
- Frequently lift and/or move items up to 10 lbs.
- Occasionally lift and/or move items up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility as needed
- Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and mouse
- Ability to sit for extended periods when required
