Next Gen Kids Director / Pastor
Rock Family Church – Colorado Springs, CO
Thank you for your interest in serving in Next Gen at Rock Family Church. We are prayerfully seeking a leader who is called to pastor children and families, build strong teams, and help shape a culture where the next generation encounters the Presence of God and grows as lifelong disciples of Jesus.
This is more than a position.
It’s a calling to help form hearts early, partner with parents, and build environments that are Spirit‑led, safe, joyful, and deeply meaningful.
Inside Rock Family ChurchRock Family Church is a Spirit‑filled, presence‑driven church located in the heart of Colorado Springs. Founded in 2004, Rock has grown into a vibrant, multi‑generational church family with a deep love for Jesus, people, and the city.
We believe church should feel like family, warm, authentic, faith‑filled, and fun. Children and families are not an accessory to the church; they are central to who we are. We are deeply committed to raising up disciples, not just attenders, and to creating environments where the Holy Spirit is welcomed, trusted, and given room to move.
Rock Family Church is outward‑focused and mission‑minded. We believe the church exists for the world, not the other way around. Everything we do, from Sunday services to groups, missions, and experiences, is designed to help people encounter God and live transformed lives.
What We DoRock Family Church is led by Lead Pastor Josh Hawk.
Pastor Josh leads with a deep devotion to Jesus, a commitment to integrity, and a genuine love for people. His heart is to cultivate a church culture where leaders are formed from the inside out, the Holy Spirit is honored above performance, and families are strengthened across every generation.
Pastor Josh and his wife, Ashley, are the proud parents of three children—Landry (13), Brooks (11), and Mabry (9)—and are passionate about building church life in a way that honors both ministry and family. Together, they model a healthy rhythm of faith, leadership, and home life, believing the next generation isn’t the church of tomorrow, but the church of today.
Pastor Josh is deeply committed to raising up leaders, empowering teams, and creating environments where people belong, grow, and step fully into their God‑given purpose.
