Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hematology / Oncology - Colorado Springs, CO

Overview

UCHealth Medical Group and the UCHealth Cancer Center and Hematology Clinic, located in Colorado Springs, CO, are welcoming a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their team. Responsibilities
  • Join a growing oncology program with comprehensive, supportive, and integrative services.
  • Work with a schedule from Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts required and no calls required.
  • Utilize Epic EMR system-wide.
Requirements for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado
  • Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the NCCPA and maintained throughout employment
  • Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications commonly prescribed in practice
  • Eligible to provide services and maintain provider status with Medicare and Medicaid
  • Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA List of Excluded from Federal Programs
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
  • Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Requirements for Nurse Practitioners
  • Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility; applicant must apply for prescriptive authority as a condition of employment
  • Master's degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • ANCC or AANPCB Nurse Practitioner Certification is required for hire and maintained throughout employment
  • Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license or compact privileges under the Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges
  • Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications commonly prescribed in practice
  • Eligible to provide services with Medicare and Medicaid
  • Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusion from HHS/OIG or GSA List of Excluded
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Exceptional Benefits
  • Competitive compensation: pay range for this full-time position is $100,589 - $143,770 annually, dependent on experience; productivity incentive may be offered
  • Relocation bonus of up to $10,000, if eligible

  • CME support of up to $3,500 and up to 5 days annually
