1+ years of recent registered nurse cardiac step down or invasive cardiac pre/post RN experience strongly preferred. This position will be based out of Memorial North, but will float between Memorial North and Memorial Central. Rotating weekend call is included with regular Monday‑Friday 72‑hour work week. Call is required for this position.

Compensation$38.91–$60.31 per hour, dependent on experience.
Job SummaryProvides direct patient care at a proficient level, in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Monitors the patient to maintain a safe environment, optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
Responsibilities- Perform and document pre/post procedure assessment/evaluation/education of patient.
- Respond to life‑threatening situations utilizing nursing standards and protocols for treatment. Handle critical, highly stressful situations, reacting decisively with efficiency and composure.
- Provide nursing care in a technically complex environment.
- Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced environment.
- Registered Nurse Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, with card in hand before start date. Card must be good through 60 days of hire.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board of nursing approved; state licensure as an RN.
- 6 months RN experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
