Position: Registered Nurse for Pregnancy Center

Registered Nurse (Full-time)

The Staff Nurse provides support and care to the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center (CSPC) patients and maintains professional standards of care. We seek a professional who is compassionate and able to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. This position's responsibilities are varied and include clinical services, nursing interventions, patient referrals, medical follow‑up, and educational instruction. This position offers an individual a rewarding opportunity to minister in a dynamic and growing evangelistic ministry.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain current working knowledge of nursing methods, principles, and practices in relation to pregnancy, STIs, the prevention and treatment of disease, ultrasounds, safety and infection control, clinical systems, supplies, and equipment.
  • Perform nursing services for the pregnancy centers, including but not limited to pregnancy tests, STI tests, education, client follow‑up, maintenance of accurate client records, review of client files, and maintenance of supply inventory as assigned.
  • Schedule and perform limited ultrasounds.
  • Maintain and promote clinic cleanliness and safety as stated in the Policies and Procedures.
  • Assist with volunteer recruitment, training, supervision, and direct support.
  • Assist with program development.
  • Assist Nurse Manager with administrative duties as assigned and works in support of CSPC Director.
  • Assist other staff and help fill staffing vacancies.
  • Opportunity to teach childbirth educational classes depending on proficiencies.
  • Assist Client Services staff with planning and implementation of in‑service trainings and volunteer appreciation events.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Participate in staff development events and volunteer in‑services.
  • Participation by all staff is required at Life Network's major events.
