Colorado Springs - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner; PMHNP​/FNP​/AGNP​/PA-C

Compensation:
Base salary plus incentive opportunities with total earnings potential of $195,000+ annually.

Job Type: Full-time, W2 (Part Time options available).

Location:

South Colorado Springs, Pueblo.

• Provide face‑to‑face psychiatric services to patients directly in Skilled Nursing Facilities.
• Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
• Appropriately diagnose DSM‑V disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Apply appropriate medical decision‑making skills for mental health issues including psychopharmacology options and non‑pharmacological treatments.
• Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists.

• Licensed in Colorado by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry.
• Licensed by the Colorado Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA).
• 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry Experience.
• 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals.

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent written communication.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
