Work Schedule:
Full Time, Part Time or PRN available. Shift: Nights, Weekends, Rotating shifts available. This role is onsite only; no hybrid or remote option.
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Approximately 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience, or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program.
- Provide top-scope practice in direct patient care using the nursing process.
- Model proficiency by precepting new staff and/or UCHealth personnel.
- Contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care.
- Deliver direct care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a technically complex environment.
- Apply AACN's Synergy Model and specialty certification standards in evidence-based ICU care.
- Collaborate with Clinical Educators to support individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
