Job Summary and Responsibilities
Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $10,000 sign‑on bonus!
To be eligible for the sign‑on bonus, you must be hired into a Full‑time or Part‑time Nights or Days position, ONLY within the specialties of OB or OR; PRN positions are not eligible. Some exclusions apply. Apply to chat with a recruiter about the details!
The position assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
Promotes optimal health, well‑being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Enterprise Resource PoolWe have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole‑person care to our communities. The Common Spirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the system.
Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities.
- Base rate $75.00/hr + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials
- Must be available to travel to all facilities (Colorado, Western Kansas, and Utah)
- For Enterprise Pool Tier 3/Systemwide hires, dependent on location individual assignments may qualify for a $2,500 payout each. Subject to change.
- Full Time/Part Time: 24 months of hospital RN experience in unit type/specialty area in which candidate will float

In addition to bringing human kindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
- RN License required;
Current state nursing licenses or RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact - Colorado Only: RNs working in Colorado under a multi‑state license must obtain their CO RN license within 30 days of establishing residency, i.e., driver’s license, register to vote, etc. Compact to Compact. - Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred - BLS from the American Heart Association required
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to unit type or specialty area
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs constantly)
