Infusion Nurse Educator

Role Overview

The Infusion Nurse Educator is a licensed RN responsible for providing clinical education, training, and intermediate direct patient care to facilitate safe transitions to home or alternate infusion settings.

• Assess, educate, and train patients, caregivers, and facility staff on infusion services and products.
• Coordinate with sales and healthcare teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and optimize care continuity.
• Develop and modify nursing care plans, perform treatments, administer medications, and monitor patient progress.
• Provide mentorship to nursing staff, ensure documentation accuracy, and maintain compliance with legal and organizational standards.
• Participate in discharge planning, multidisciplinary teams, and ongoing training to enhance service quality.

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of nursing experience.
• CPR certification, proficiency in patient care standards, and infusion skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel locally, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform related physical tasks.
