Infection Control Coordinator

Skyline Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation Center seeks an Infection Control Nurse/Staff Development Coordinator to lead infection prevention and clinical education in our senior living community. This RN will design and deliver staff training, monitor infection trends, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality resident care. In collaboration with Stellar Living's innovative, respectful culture, you will guide best practices, maintain policies and documentation, and mentor caregivers to enhance safety, clinical outcomes, and daily living for our Cañon City residents.

Responsibilities

• Lead infection prevention and control program for the facility
• Develop, deliver, and document clinical staff education and competencies
• Monitor, audit, and report infection trends and quality metrics
• Ensure compliance with CMS, CDC, OSHA, and state regulations
• Collaborate with nursing leadership to improve resident outcomes
• Guide staff on PPE, isolation, and outbreak response protocols
• Maintain accurate records, policies, and training documentation
• Coordinate orientation and ongoing development for clinical staff
