School-Based Registered Nurse; RN Springs

• Active RN licensure in the state of Colorado
• Experience working as a Registered Nurse within a school environment is highly valued
• Strong ability to assess student health, respond to emergencies, and manage chronic conditions
• Outstanding communication skills for interacting with students, families, and educational staff
• Capacity to maintain accurate records and follow privacy guidelines
• Flexibility and adaptability within a school community

• Conduct health assessments, administer first aid, and provide care for students experiencing illness or injury during the school day
• Monitor and manage individual health plans for students with specific needs, such as allergies, diabetes, or asthma
• Dispense prescribed medications and maintain detailed health records for compliance and safety
• Deliver health education to students and staff on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support students’ physical and emotional well-being
• Serve as a resource in managing communicable diseases and supporting public health initiatives within the school
