Quality Technician
Our client, a global provider of electronic design and test solutions company, is looking for a Quality Technician for their Colorado Springs, CO location. Responsibilities include mechanical inspection of precision machined components, use of CMM (Optical and Touch Probe), Interferometry, Laser Micrometer, and other advanced metrology equipment, calibrations of metrology equipment, CAPA corrective and preventive action support in relation to NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) with thorough documentation, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements include excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpreting specifications including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), work experience in a QC and manufacturing environment is essential, preferred knowledge in Lean, Corrective and Preventive Action, root cause investigation, Kaizen (continuous improvement-PDCA), ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or FDA Certifications, advanced metrology, programmable optical measurement tools (optical CMM), Keyence Image Measurement system, Interferometers used for surface finish and form analysis, laser micrometer, and a university degree, specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
