We are looking for a Painter II who will perform painting work for commercial, military and dry film parts to support all operations/manufacturing needs.
What You Will Do:- Operate painting tools, measuring devices, spray booth and ventilation system with direct to minimal supervision.
- Perform routine and repetitive paint operations for Military, commercial and dry film processes with direct to minimal supervision under NADCAP specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
- Conduct inventory as directed to ensure raw materials and supplies are available.
- Looks for ways to eliminate safety hazards and improve the overall safety of the workplace.
- Crosstrain and work in all areas of assembly operation.
- Provides continuous improvement ideas to support the company.
- Participate in all NADCAP audits.
- Adhere to all Collins rules and codes of conduct.
- Take an active role to ensure Environment, Health, and Safety standards and procedures are met and complied with.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Able to work overtime as business requires.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

- Ability to mask, hang, unhang & inspect parts under minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings & work instructions.
- Mechanical knowledge.
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of shop math skills.
