Job Overview

Temporary Research Support role (part‑time or full‑time) to assist with research activities, data collection, and laboratory care across department needs.

Pay Rate
: $15.00 per hour or higher.

Work Schedule
: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with possible early morning, weekend, or evening hours as required.

Duration
:
Assignment length to be determined based on departmental needs; active until September 30 2026.

Responsibilities
:

• Assist or conduct research as required by the department.
• Perform experiments, collect and summarize data, and provide proper laboratory or study subject care.
• Operate instrumentation and equipment, observing, collecting, and recording a variety of data.
• Maintain attention to detail, multitask, and communicate effectively.

Qualifications
:

• Demonstrated possession of competencies necessary for performing the work.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• General knowledge and skills to perform standard duties related to research.

Benefits
:

• Temporary staff employees are ineligible for standard benefits but covered by Worker’s Compensation.
• Eligible non‑permanent employees working 30 + hours per week for three months or more must be offered enrollment in the High Deductible Health Plan within 30 days of eligibility.
• Temporary hourly workers with FTE ≥ 0.75 (cumulative of all jobs) or measured full‑time, and temporary salaried workers are offered the High Deductible Health Plan.
