As a Security Coordinator – Level 3 your role at Colorado Springs, CO will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

- Responsible for database entry and maintenance pertaining to personnel folders, classified safes, and other NISPOM compliance requirements
- Produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards
- Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control
- Maintain lock and key records
- Process incoming and outgoing visit authorization requests
- Verify accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances
- Maintain controlled security documents and information
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program
- Meticulous record‑keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
- Perform clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilities
- Provide security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assigned
- Provide caveat briefings and debriefings for employees
- Support a fast‑paced high‑profile environment
- Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
- Process requests for employees and guests to gain access to secure areas
- Maintain database for controlled security documents and information
- Safeguard classified materials
- Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education RequiredHigh School/GED

Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), access control systems and security management systems Lenel Onguard and SIMS
Preferred QualificationsBachelors Degree
- Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule
- Completed security training (ex. CDSE)
