As a Security Coordinator – Level 3 your role at Colorado Springs, CO will be pivotal in supporting missions critical to national and global security. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for database entry and maintenance pertaining to personnel folders, classified safes, and other NISPOM compliance requirements
  • Produce employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards
  • Process security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control
  • Maintain lock and key records
  • Process incoming and outgoing visit authorization requests
  • Verify accuracy of information prior to issuing clearances
  • Maintain controlled security documents and information
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program
  • Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets
  • Perform clearance verification, escorting, and access control activities in and around secure facilities
  • Provide security support for meetings, order supplies, and complete all other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Provide caveat briefings and debriefings for employees
  • Support a fast-paced high-profile environment
  • Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Process requests for employees and guests to gain access to secure areas
  • Maintain database for controlled security documents and information.
  • Safeguard classified materials
  • Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), access control systems and security management systems Lenel Onguard and SIMS
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM rule
  • Completed security training (ex. CDSE)

Primary Level Salary Range: $46,700.00 - $77,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
