Security Service Support

Job Summary

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is seeking a motivated and qualified professional to join our team as a Security Service Support Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to support mission‑critical government security operations alongside a skilled and dedicated team.

• Administer and maintain visitor control programs, including processing visitor access requests for Delta 9 facilities.
• Develop, update, and enforce entry and exit inspection procedures in compliance with SAP and collateral security requirements.
• Manage and safeguard classified materials and secure classified containers within Delta 9 facilities.
• Process Program Access Requests (PARs) and maintain accurate program access databases.
• Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and related administrative activities to ensure compliance with all security protocols and procedures.
• Identify potential security risks and implement effective solutions to support operational continuity and mission success.

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum of 5 years of program security experience supporting SAP programs or highly classified SCIF/SAPF environments.
• Experience with classified access programs and handling sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated and capable of working independently while exercising sound judgment with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic, secure environment.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant work experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Preferred

• Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Security Specialist Course and the Security Professional Education Development (SPēD) Certification Program, highly desired.

Must be a U.S. citizen. A high‑level Department of Defense active security clearance is/may be required. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to government information.

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
