Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Retail Patrol

Friday: 03:00 PM - 12:00 AM

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, and report conditions to site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security‑related incidents, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site procedures.
• Support a visible presence at the location to help deter unauthorized activity, assist with de‑escalation when appropriate, and communicate clearly with management and/or first responders.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
