The Security Supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance of all aspects of the Schools’ safety policies, practices, and procedures. The general purpose of this position is to provide the safest possible faith‑based environment for students, family, and staff of all CSCS campuses and facilities. The position is year‑round.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or equivalent
• Concealed Carry Card Holder Preferred
• Minimum 2 years law enforcement or security background preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

• Provide a safety and security presence throughout the CSCS campuses, the CSCS rented facilities, and our affiliate Handprints Early Education Center
• Patrol the interior and exterior facilities for unusual activity
• Patrol the parking lot for unregistered vehicles and provide overall parking lot security
• Participate in appropriate student disciplinary meetings as requested
• Maintain flexibility of schedule to provide security for weekend and / or evening events as coordinated with the supervisor
• Assist in coordinating appropriate responses toward threats or acts of violence and all law enforcement incidents
• Communicate with leadership for all incidents and assist in identifying potential security threats
• Assist in the training of school staff for security procedures during incidents, ie. Lockout, Lockdown, etc.
• Complete required paperwork for the position
• Oversee security team and facilitate regular security trainings
• Commits and fully supports the missional and organizational standards including our Core Values, Mission Statement and Doctrinal Statement
• Must maintain high level of confidentiality
• Able to remain calm in stressful situations
• Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships
• Additional duties as assigned
