Brief Description SABG is hiring a Cyber Test Engineer Intermediate (DW) to support the WOI contract with the Missile Defense Agency in Colorado Springs, CO.

LOCATION

Colorado Springs, Colorado

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute exercise and wargame events to include experiments, demonstrations, and/or tabletop event planning.
  • Support testing phases for exercises and wargames, including but not limited:
    System Verification Test, Event Verification Test, Event Functional Test, Event Operational Test.
  • Assist the government in identifying the proper equipment.
  • Provide recommendations on equipment upgrades needed to meet exercises and wargames requirements.
  • Understanding of network connections required to conduct exercises and wargames; provide regular status of the connections.
  • Provide recommendations on network connections to support exercises and wargames.
  • Collect M&S system enhancement requirements (wish list) and collaborate (translate operational requirements) with software developers once approved by the Government.
  • Monitor status of all networks, equipment, and applicable documentation.
  • Assist in completing exercise related eMASS packages including artifact gathering and submission.
  • Assist in submission and acquire approvals for Removable Media Waivers (RMW), Ports, Protocols, Services Monitoring (PPSM), and Event Cybersecurity Plans (ECsPs).
SUPERVISION

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education And Experience
  • BS Degree in engineering (systems engineering, software engineering, cybersecurity) or computer science and 7+ years relevant experience
  • Experience in lieu of the above requirements will be considered
  • Certification: IAM Level III Certification, DoD 8570, IAT Level II IAW with DoD 8140 and Security+ or industry equivalents
Relevant Experience Requirements
  • Experience with computer networks including system/network administration knowledge
  • Experience with cyber compliance implementation
  • Capable of executing cybersecurity processes including planning, integration execution and analysis on WG&E architectures
  • Understanding of RMF process and experience effectively implementing security controls
  • Experience developing cyber security packages for approval
  • Practical experience navigating and maintaining system packages within eMASS.
Computer Skills
  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and databases (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Desired experience operating MDA modeling and simulation software or similar
  • Desired experience with high-level architecture (HLA), distributed interactive simulation (DIS), or specific M&S frameworks (e.g., AFSIM, MATLAB/Simulink, Ansys).
