The Bore Crew Laborer/CDL Driver is responsible for preparing and cleaning construction sites, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment and machines, and assisting craft workers with their duties. This position supports the Construction team and works with personnel within the department.

Pay Rate
: $27.00 per hour.

There is no per diem or housing provided for this role; must be local. Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.

Experience with potholes is necessary to be considered for hire.

• Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and possible hazards.
• Assist the tradesmen in completing their skilled task more effectively.
• Identify utilities and watch dig crew dig to prevent utility hits.
• Clean up and maintain equipment.
• Restock trucks with supplies ensuring crews have the proper tools and supplies to complete the job.

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience working with pothole duties is necessary.
• Current and valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

• 1 year of experience.

This job operates in a field environment. It requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and twisting, and working in inclement weather (extreme heat/cold, rain, ice, snow, wind). Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and have adequate vision and hand-eye coordination.
