We are seeking an experienced Rental/Transport Manager to join our rapidly moving team. The Rental/Transport Manager will provide support and assistance to our Fleet Manager, Operation Manager, Division Managers, Superintendents, and crews on a daily basis. In this position you will need to move between and track various tasks on multiple projects. To be successful, you will need to be highly organized, pay attention to details, and follow established procedures.

Daily job duties include but are not limited to:

• Ability to coordinate with all rental companies to find resources for field operations
• Track rentals being used on job sites and track when being returned
• Coordinate repairs in field on rentals with rental company
• Coordinate the delivery and return of rentals for field, by working with hauling companies or our hauling group
• Track invoices and damages for rentals to ensure proper billing
• Collect photos of equipment being rented
• Perform site visits to gain knowledge of rental requirements to better understand needs
• Track, coordinate and dispatch truck to fulfill transport needs
• Work with company drivers to ensure all loads are secured properly and DOT compliant
• Continuously staying up to date on best practices and efficient methods to ensure full DOT compliance
• Excellent communication skills
• Capable of managing multiple projects
• Ability to follow and enforce all OSHA standards and company safety policies

Experience and Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience with equipment rental in a busy construction environment
• Excellent attention to detail and follow through even under pressure
• Strong written and communication skills
• Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office
• Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Experience with DOT compliance regulations is preferred but not required
• CDL Class A is preferred but not required
• Must be team oriented
