We are currently seeking a full-time Audio Visual Lighting Technician II (L2) to work at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO
.
We will consider applicants with experience in Event Technology who wish to pursue a career in lighting in a live events environment, working with stage lighting fixtures, dimming, and console programming.

The compensation for this Audio Visual Lighting Technician II position is between $ depending on experience.
Summary of essential job functions Shows & Events- Lighting fixture setup and focus, Electrical and dimmer controls, Lighting Console programming and operation.
- Rigging safety knowledge for lighting equipment
- Strong computer skills – CAD or Vectorworks a plus
- General Audio, Lighting, Rigging, Décor, Staging abilities & knowledge
- Pull Equipment, load-in, set up, operate, Take Down, Load Out & Shop duties
- Warehouse & Equipment Responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with clients, both internal and external.
- Maintain a professional image in compliance with the company's appearance/dress code.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Must be able to accommodate a flexible and short-notice work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
- Will have experience in the Event Technology field working in a hotel/convention center environment.
- Demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career in live events through relevant work or volunteer experience, or education in an Event Technology field.
- Must have basic knowledge of live event stage lighting and the ability to learn and master new equipment and systems.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, be well organized, have a professional demeanor, and be efficient in the use of time management.
