Refrigeration Plus LLC is looking for a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO! This is a hands-on role where you'll keep commercial and residential refrigeration systems running at peak performance — all while working with a company that values your expertise and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment, HVAC/R units, and cooling systems
- Install new refrigeration equipment and ensure proper system startup and commissioning
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigerant-related issues on a variety of systems
- Handle refrigerant recovery, recharge, and leak detection in compliance with EPA regulations
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service findings and recommendations
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts documentation
- EPA 608 Universal Certification required
- 5+ years of hands-on refrigeration or HVAC/R service experience
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, electrical components, and controls
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and equipment schematics
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in the field
- Strong customer service and communication skills
